Waterbox Mount questions. . .

So I was working on my X2 trying to lighten the nose up a bit and I pulled the big rubber mounts out--they're freakin' heavy--what do I need to do to mount the water box in there w/o the big rubber mounts?

Where would you get an idea like that..?
The rubber mats worked good. I just cut up a rubber truck mat and folded it up under the old mounts. I also tied a knot in each rubber strap, and ran them across each other in an X to take up slack. I also did this because I have to have my box rolled on an angle to fit my modded front exhaust and B pipe.

Just go to Matts and get some of his scrap foam. Mine just lays on a piece of thin rubber and straps down.

Just two pieces of foam. If you have a box with the pedastools, you may have to chop off the mounts on the bottom to fit. I will take a pic of a 94/95 X2 water box later so you can see how it just sits flat on the foam. The foam weighs practically nothing compared to the rubbers.
