SXR hull questions

Ok, so if you've seen my sxr buildup, me and Ben (24-7 760 superjet) cut 4 inches off the read of the lower hull. I'm currently doing the toothed-cut PVC pipe trick to cut through the foam so I can put my new wamiltons scupper in, I made it about 7 or 8 inches and it sounds like I'm hitting something solid. Anyone split an SXR hull and seen anything on the LH side? Maybe a brace or divider or something? :banghead:
