Still preproduction but yet here they are,these are hand laid,made on top of the plugs so they are backwards,the production ones will be visual carbon fiber on the top side and if I can figure out the process to my satisfaction they will be vacumm bagged.I left plenty of room in there so padding them is up to the end user,I have three layers of turf in mine ,I may go with a fourth,with three layers you can easily get in and out of them.I have mounted mine with furniture inserts from Lowes on the rail under the seat,they were thicker than those that I got from oxnard and they screw in,I screwed them in and epoxied them in also,on the outside I drilled through the bond rail and used stailness steel screws and wing nuts,that way it only takes a screwdriver to remove them.Mad scientist looked at them this weekend and said I should look at making a d-cut at the top of them where your ankle would meet the hold,any thoughts on that would be appreciated.
