Guees who sunk ,sunk again,yes I sunk ,sunk again,sunk again,sunk again,sunk again ,sunk again or something like that.

So I was riding today and the pipe came loose at the coupler for the tailcone.Now normally that wouldn't be a problem but ,I have no waterbox so that means the ski started listing horribly to the Left side and sinking.So here I am swimming in my sinking boat when my hero arrives.The guy pulls right up to me and says(no its not what you were thinking)hey is that you truck parked on the boat ramp?You can't park like that and this is a no wake zone and you need to take that thing on down the river if you want to play on it.Someone should call the cops on you.Of course there is not a no wake zone sign in site anywhere.By this time nothing is sticking up besides the back of the seat and so the guy drives on off going to run his smartass mouth off to someone else I guess.%^%&(*&*&&$&^ing boaters!!!!!!!!!!I about stroked out trying to get that thing to shore and back on the hitch hauler.So the lesson here today was? Check your exhaust clamps?Boaters are actually in charge of the waterways now and most are a__holes?Rear exhausts suck ,literally?Damnifiknow?Alas tomorrow is another day.

Seriously, that boater was and a$$ for what he did but we all know that.

not necessarily, granted i wasn't there, and have no idea, but i have seen some boat ramps with parking along the side that didn't block the ramp.

I feel your pain- funny but those skis seem ten times heavier when being pulled under the water.

most of my ride days end with a broken ski part or a sore body part. sometimes both.

the ramp we drop at is pretty wide, but also busy. i hate it when some one leave their truck and trailer on the ramp and drive off. their truck and trailer should be towed. if there are signs that say it is ok to stay parked on the ramp then fine, but you should never leave your truck on the ramp. if tuning or working on it, that is fine. but once the test drive starts the truck should come off the ramp.

sorry to hear you sunk. i had to swim my square in with only the back rear of the ski bobbing in the water. it sucked and i ended up having to replace my crank seals after that.

Oh it was running within 30 minutes of me getting home,I didn't say anything to the guy,but he was smart enough to leave before I got back to my truck with the ski.Btw I wasn't blocking the ramp and it wasn't busy either.

Yes I have an order in this morning for t-bolt clamps and a new silicone coupler to replace the hose clamps and the coupler,I also need to find someone with or buy a bead roller so I can roll a new retaining bead on the aluminum pipe tail section I don't forsee it happening again,live and learn I guess.As they say the learning curve can be steep.

when working on them, on a non busy ramp, and not blocking any one else is ok in my book. i hate the ones that leave them on the ramp for a couple hours, go fishing or what ever, and come back.

that is why i loved daytona so much being around other jet ski people for the last 20 years people think i was nuts, they dont understand our passion, for some reason a lot of boaters just hate us, that is why i am going to as many rides as possible to be around people that have the same interest, jet ski people are a lot nicer than boaters, in canada they always hog up my dock in lake ontario, he should have offered help first

First of all, what an a&&hole, I would have told him to go F^({ HIMSELF. And secondly, you guys have ramps, actual ramps? I think that we might have 3 maybe 4 that I know of in the entire lake and they are always clogged up with the "BOAT PEOPLE," for that matter, I think it is a requirement that you are part of the "BOAT PEOPLE" clan to even launch there. Those people are a different breed. Glad to hear that everything is ok with the ski though.
