13/15 might be a bit low. I was told to run a 13/15 for bottom end hit on a limited application.

13/17 might be better for surf, or 12/17.

Nice motor for a surf boat! More than enough juice!

I ran a 14/18 concord last year and even though all the info on here says it would be too tall it really worked awesome in my setup. I cant imagine a 12/17 having any more low end but likely this year I will jump on the bandwagon and send it to impros be repitched and cut back.

I got an solas concord 14/18. I run b pipe, stock carbs with vortex air filter and jetting with the pipe, milded exhaust and base port, intake port are stock. I got a wetwolf pump cone and a r&d grate with ocean pro rideplate. My weight is 130 lbs. Is this the right impeller I had?. What would you use if you was me?I think my impeller do a great job but I never tried others ... and mine is old I will need a new one so I want the best for my setup ... Next mod for the summer that may be important to consider before buying a new prop is a head for 170psi, reeds, and maybe an oversize ... thanks all!

I would have yours repitched to 13/16. With you only being 130lbs that prop would hit hard.
