An 800 SXR bottom end is slightly different than a 750 bottom end, however a 800SXR cylinder will bolt up directly to a 750sx bottom end. I wouldn’t recommend doing this if you using a 750 bottom end with a small pin crank (750SX). If you have a 750SXI bottom end with big pin crank it will work fine. I put a 2003 SXR800 on my 1995 SXI bottom end and rode it for 2 years with no problems.

sxr bottom end

that's what i needed to know so basically all i'll have to get is an 800 cylinder make shure ive got a big pin crank with 750 cases

I don't see any reason why you can't run an 800 cylinder on a small pin crank as long as you use the small pin pistons. 82 mm bore piston are available. That will make it the same bore as the 800. A plus is the crank is lighter.
