Holy crap that's a clean motor!! fresh, flat water has some advantages I guess.

So will this build make it for the Riot ride 2010?

He cant ride it for another year ( legally) and after getting chased by the popo last year, im not sure he will want to try and ride it before he is 12!

so no hurry really, its getting reinforced, footholds, paint, pole, turf, complete go thru basically.

615 Freeriders are addicted to T1 madness.
Sar, and Luis,

It hits pretty dang good for what it is.
engine has 150 psi in one hole, and 185 in the other. but way stronger than a stock 650.

Ive never messed with the jetting or pipe on this boat, it was set up in the early-mid 90s as a race boat, I bought it, stuck in the MSD enhancer, removed the stickers, and have been riding it for a few years just like it is.

That Protec pipe is sort of a pain to remove, Id rather run a B pipe or coffman sizzler I think.

HUH?:eek:mfg::Eyecrazy::eek2:

Yep.

no HUH or ridiculous emoticans needed.

Just as I said,

engine had 185 psi in one cylinder, and 150 in the other, and ran strong as HELL for a 650, a few folks thought it was a 61x engine.

I was just telling it like it is, errrr WAS.

that engine is now sitting on the bench, itll be a back up, or a crank donor, or Eghey fodder.

I'm stripping turf now. Wow what a royal PITA. Tray is not bad, but the gunwales...... No quick or easy way to do it.

will he really need reinforcement?? He must be pretty badass :splatt:

I love the satin/flattish black that my boat is, we refer to it as the "stealth boat"

the flat black and odd angles on the front with the nose piece removed remind me of stealth.

Ill get you some pics of that finished boat later.

hey, how do u like the black on ur ski, i was thinking about going either jet black or flat black???? wut do yah think?

He might need reinforcing in the coming years.

he doesnt just yet though.

I just dont want to have to go thru all that again, I dont foresee this much downtime in its future. so im taking advantage of it right now.

i HATE turf, I hate installing it, I hate removing it.

I suck at both parts of that.

stripping turf sucks, but I actually rather enjoy turfing.....what sucks is cleaning up the mess from the contact cement!

last time I just reinforced the mount area, and used a stock RN bracket.

I figure Ill do something very similar, or make an adapter bracket.

I migght build the mount area up to a slight angle to more accurately emulate the RN mount area.

What method of attack are you going to use when it comes to putting the RN pole on the square?
