thers mine.
when i feel like it the rear is moving left 1/2" front moving forward 1/2" and angle 15 degrees more perpendicular to the side of the ski.
im so loving straps!!! wyd thanks for the strapslap!

Digging this one up, because i want to put straps in my ski. I was looking at the Dakines but i am not sure if they will work on a size 14 foot. I also have to wear shoes riding the ski because Lake Michigan where i ride at is zebra muscle heaven. Just looking for the largest foot strap i can find. Any suggestions??

you should be able to use the dakin supremo. Brett has size 14 and I think that is the type he is running.

Where is the best place to find the supremo's? Other thing that worries me is the stength of the epoxy holding the strap in place. Are they able to take a little abuse...

I have a size 11 foot and am running the Dakine Supremos with PLENTY of room for loosening. These things have got some serious room in them, and adjust very easily. Here is a link to the install pics- http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/24849
I love them. Very comfortable, and the install is strong.

i just drilled screws straight into the tray and gunked them up with silicone.

no way!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that is ridiculous.

no way in gods green earth some crappy silicone would keep that sealed...
Man, I hate to sound like a jerk, but that is real bad advice bro... really..
At least tell him to use 5200...

Have you ever refoamed your ski???

you only do it once if you are stupid enough, or cheap enough, unfortunately I was both... Next time, my ski goes to the street for the trash man.

I never once told him how to do it. I just stated what I did.

No I have not refomed a ski. I have seen all you crazy f'er do it, and it looks like it sucks, but sometimes must be done.

When I put in my foot wells, my foam was already wet. Not soaking, but pretty damp. So I know my ski already needs to be done.

I also think the silicone will keep it sealed. I didn't cut away any turf, just pre drilled and went right over the turf and foam. I squirted silicone with a caulking gun into the holes, and then screwed in. I personally think it sealed just fine.

That looks right about where i want to mount the straps in mine. Couple weeks away from tackling it though. Will hopefully get some after pics. My ski has a fairly nice hydro-turf kit on it already, is it just as easy to cut out a small section, flip it to the side and epoxy the hardware in and then just cut to fit to put the turf back down?

I don't see why not. There was another person on the boards that did that and it looked great- I am sure it is holding up just fine too.
