looks good! just did my parts order with Blowsion
Wet Pipe
Charging Fly Wheel
JSU 28cc girdled head
CDI-9R
0.020" Aluminum base gasket
13/18 cut back Skat w/ nose cone
and some other little stuff

that looks like a nice bilge setup.. why just 500s?
Sorry i might be dense here but which tube did you machine?

Nice list of parts! Did you get the RAD fly wheel?
I just went with the 500's because I already had the one and so far it has not been an issue.
I machined a tube to go between the 3/16" washers I made on the RRP pole. This will hopefully keep the pole mount from breaking, when I crank down on the bolt. This way I can run the Blowsion HD SXR spring and still keep the pole tight.

I'm out for a short while. I broke the hood mount cast aluminum part off of the pole mount. I post picts later after I get it back in the water. It sucks, on a Kawi you have to pull the engine and gas tank to get it off. Decided to put a JSU 28cc head on the motor while waiting for the new RRP pole mount base to come in. Thanks for helping with the pole base reinforcing tonight Frosty! Hopefully we can get it back together for the weekend!!!!!!!! I need some more Brap!

Your going to love that RRP setup.. I rode a couple of skis with it and the pole felt/looked awesome.. are you going girdled? if so maybe go with a TBM head (no grinding).. (thats a nice stab in your avatar)

I love my RRP. You need to run a SJ spring if you are using the RRP base and air tubes. I'm using a girdled ADA head,I wish I would have bought the standard head just to save some weight. The ADA Girdled head you have to remove the cylinder to mount the brackets or just to get the flywheel cover off. Not sure if the girdled setup has any benefits for freesyle riding.

I did the same thing. Take it to an aluminum welder or just do what I did. Tighten it up with one bolt and hook up some Rachet Straps to hold your hood down. You don't even need the hood mounts with those...

Probably should have, I'm mostly together today but I'm still waiting on one part to put it back together. I'm probably not going to make it to cleveland this weekend. Parts should be here in the morning but I can't put it together till Fri night. We'll see how it goes, still hoping to make it down!

Little update for the ski, since I was down. Everything is working great together. 180 nose stabs, inverted subs, are becoming easy even in flatwater with no set up wake. I'm getting the set up wake sometimes, and am doing nose stabs, inverted subs, and BR attempts off of them. I have ridden a few of them out under water. Pulled my first BR that I rode away from without entering the water off a boat wake, not plate to plate. That was the highlight of my summer so far! Thanks again Frosty, u are da man :notworthy:
It still needs a little bottom end tuning. I had to turn up the screws on the top end as it was way too lean with the new JSU head. I also turned up the bottom end as a precaution, but now I am way too rich on the bottom so I still need to adjust that. It probably would have been fine if I left it alone. I shortened the pole up another 1" last night. I should have gone 2". It seems much easier to ride now. Ripped the side rails off in the surf last Friday, I'm turfing them over this time.

Some updated photos of what I've been up to. A little texallium under the pole mount; the dual breathing RRP mount, Oh and by the way I'm now springless and will never go back. The JSU 28CC head. And trying to put engine keepers in the front of the motor. BTW they wont fit there!!

Yep, they call it tilt not trim. The SE, Skat Trak, or Thrust Innovations is the way to go. Thrust Seems like a better trim ring at this point, but unfortunately I have not personally tested it yet. I have heard of racers breaking the Skat. The bore sizes I have work pretty well. I have heard they work well for freestyle and racing.

The Thrust trim is a great setup.

We'll I sent in my check for the hood and nose pc from Trinity today. Time to start doing some needed lightening and repair work. Possibly some paint work and etc by summer. That may be it for this year.

That hood makes a ton of difference...I was a skeptic until I put it on my ski. It rocks. :headbang: I WILL find a way to afford one soon.

Really Korn, I was skeptical that it would make a difference. Very cool, now I psyched for it to get here.

The temp gauge was just temporary and for some tuning, and my piece of mind. I ran it for about 6 hours. I just put a T in the over board line and put a vacuum cap in it. Then stuck the temp gauge end through the cap. Clamped it all together to keep it from falling out and velcroed the gauge to my dash.

Trinity hood is in, Very nice work Bobby, just need to decide how I'm going to hold it on and mock it up. Then off to paint. I'm torn between a latch plus straps or just the ratchet straps. Oh, yeah and I got the nose pc also.
