my new led trailer light kit

I finally bought an LED trailer light kit and got it yesterday.

Very nice. It was $60 from etrailer.com. The first thing I did was pull the lenses off to see how they are built inside, and I was pleasantly surprised to see everything potted in epoxy, everything.

They're pretty bright too based on hooking them to a battery. I'll see how they are once installed though.

Hopefully these last a while, I've had horrible luck with lights lately and haven't had anything working for a long time.

I've got those same lights on my trailer and so far they are working great. The license plate light is nice and bright.

LED's are awesome- I just wonder how long before the saltwater creeps up the wire and ruins it.

that is why I left all the wire I could and zip tied it, buying time like a burning fuse sorta.

and sorry for starting the threadjack or fanning the flames at least. I did get a laugh. hope you did too. you guys crack me up you can recite that movie from beginning to end I bet. including the credits- who was the gaffer? see if you know that you spend too much time watching that.
