Best power plant for a freestyle 750sx?

Yes, An SXR 800 cylinder will bolt directly to your 750 bottom end AND you can use your 750 crank and 750 head. You don't want to bore your old 750 cylinder out to equal the 800 cc's because it will still have crappy bottom end. Have you ever wondered why a 701 superjet has way more bottom end hit than a kawi 750? It's because the kawi 750's port timing is set up for top end for racing, while Yamaha engineered the super jet for bottom end torque. Kawi changed the port timing on the SXR 800's to have much better bottom end hit. The only problem you MAY have is that the Kawi 750SX has a small pin crank which will wear out quicker than the big pin cranks that the 750SXI and SXR 800's have.

If its gonna were out cranks then i should just get a sxr motor did go right into ot to save all the time on cranks.Will the sxr motor bolt rigth up with no mod?

Call RD bro, he is the best Kawi Mech. arround here by far, he has done all of this and he knows how to get bottom end power and keep reliability.

If you're not pulling high RPM's constantly, I wouldn't worry about getting a big pin crank.

Do some search for those Japanese X-2s and see what crazy cylinders they are putting in those.

I talked to the best kawa mechanic RD.He said with a pipe and prop it will help alot with bottom end.So i think i will save up and go with that for now.
