In boats they hardly run at all and 99 percent of the time are rigged to a float switch, so its not run dry, at all. My 360 RULE ran all the time and the P/O installed it 10 years ago, and it just quit this season.

I have seen the Atwood bases break on 2 skis, is this not comon? I have no issues with Rule 360's at all, the kick arse.

I have never used the base on one, I 3M the strainer directly to the hull.

Just make sure to clean the strainer with lacquer thinner/acetone first to remove the shine off the plastic so the 3M can really adhere.

:hail::hail::hail:The God of Bilge Pumping.... someday you will all learn. :hail::hail:

Sprays harder than a Garden Hose. Never Screws up. No Switch Needed. No wait time to start pumping. Never kills your battery. Rulemate 750 or 1100.

ive found that the 1100s dont get all the water out...just when its really full..i like the 500s cause they get the engine compartment almost dry

After installing a 2" one way my bilge barely ever runs...Im thinking about getting an auto one just to clean up my bars a little.

just talked to a rule representative and he pretty much admittied it sucks.
asked about the 360 being better and he didnt think so/never heard of that.
also said a float switch probly wouldnt be a good idea in such a harsh enviroment(told him i catch big air in the surf)

im still going to try a 360 if i can find one local...
then to atwood like you all say:boggled:
