No Square..No Round..FX-1
Ok...Once again more cool stuff from the archives. I dug up some old pic's from the 88 & 90 Havasu World Finals. Missed 89 due to a broken leg. Perhaps you guy's will like them. Some of you newer riders getting into this sport now, were not even born yet! Yep, that was a long time ago!
Sorry,no cropping, fancy editing,or color adjustments here...just the way they came out. Dig the neon! You 'new school' dudes might get some ideas??
Ha Ha!.....enjoy.

There are quite a few,and I will be adding them a little at a time. :cheer:

(edit by superjett) after the gallery changes/etc, that old system doesn't work but you can still view the pics here: http://www.x-h2o.com/gallery/albums/userpics/10110/

The SJ wasn't accepted at first, back then it was the International Jet Ski Boating Association, funded by Kawasaki, so you could only race Kawi's. The Hot Water Tour was the first tour to allow mutiple brands, and around 92/93 the IJSBA changed their name and became multibrand.

It was weird because on the Hot Water tour, they had 650 SJ's vs 650SX's.

didnt YAMAHA promote the Hot Water Tour also........ remember seeing Sheldon racing a 750 on the Nat Tour, then running a SJ at the hotwater tour.

Chris Lauber was the promoter, he was/is innovative and saw a way to get more racers involved.
