Tim, give me the # of your parts supplier. I'd like one of those $150 760 cyl & $10 760 head.

I'm having some GP1200 sleeves put into a 62t cyl. Poorman's 760cc big bore.

umm, it's called being cheap and jumping on deals. stock heads are nearly free. maybe you'll spend $20.

besides everyone knows x cases and 62t cylinders are nothing but boat anchors, I'll take them off anyones hands as a favor. :cool2:

seriously, in the surf, it really doesnt matter much anyways! a good limited setup tuned RIGHT *coughidokcough* is MORE than enough! focus on the rider, not the machine. that's my .02!

I agree. but some of us have no surf:frown: 80% of what myslef and guys like madmat ride on is either some crappy boat wake chop or glass. The extra power makes a BIG difference for us.

 Middle of winter for me, and I had just driven through the night (15 hours) with 4 hours of total sleep/not being on road... are you just made because it lives on the flats now?

It's getting overhauled, I'll post some pics when all the glass/paint work is done. Target finish is Mid-march

nope, I have full confidence she went to a good home :Banane01:

is she all ripped apart once again?

matt..and if it comes down to it, you will NOT be disappointed in the power that a ported 61x cased motor will provide you....and its easy as HELL to tune....

Couldn't resist, yes shes stripped in pieces in the basement. Back ends definitely getting fixed/modified, and I reinforced the hood hook area where the stress cracks were, filled in all the holes (3 in total plus the vents) on the hood, pole mount reinforcement etc. etc. REV's should be here by week's end. :woot:

Hopefully it will be in Lanier this May.

Otay. Problem solved........for now.

I just bought a freshly rebuilt wiseco 760 PRO-X 82.50 PROTEC 175PSI with stock 44's from Butch.

Now I need another B pipe manifold so that I don't have to switch it.

Then I will run mine until it blows and this will become my primary motor.

That is until I rebuild my current 701 in to a big bore friggin ripper.

This sport is a vicious circle.

Port it yourself and you can save a ton (or ruin several good parts)

When I first ported my cylinder it was so worn out that I had to change spark plugs every ride, BUT . . . BUT it hit like an SOB when it ran. I fried several sets of pistons, but had a ton of extra stock pistons and just kept changing them out until I had to bore it out.

T cases - ported by me $150
kawi reeds $20 ebay
Kawi reed stuffer $20 ebay
chuckies spacer $80
x cylinder - ported by me as per an old ric roy cylinder (plus 2mm) $100
b pipe - ported by me (46mm) $200 (back in the day, before they were premium)
44s with drilled out return (and other funkiness) $100 (yes you can find them cheap)
stock intake -$20
stock flywheel $?
cdi - modified in house - $20
Dremel $40
Bits $75
ADA Head with 34.5 cc domes - $200

$875?

I love to cut stuff up, and hate to spend $$ and time waiting for others to do it. I've always had more than one set of cases and cylinders so I wasn't afraid to mess it up. I asked a ton of questions and took notes.

This has been pleanty of power until now. However, I've got an 5mm lamey flattop stroker that I've got $2500 in the top end alone that I plan to drop in after March . . . so . . .
