The JK Flip Off!

Paul Lehr and I have come up with a different way to bring in some funds for Joe. We're thinking a back flip marathon on one day in a few different spots across the county, where sponsors throw in a few bucks per flip, would be a good way to show some love and support :cheer: This would be like the marathons people do to raise money for some charity where they get so much money per mile. I'm thinking I could get some of Joe's sponsors and a few other companys to sponsor a few riders at each of the locations, all of this money raised going to help out Joe however he needs it :biggthumpup:

We'll do some brainstorming and come up with more details soon. Anyone else have any slick ideas to make this off the hook?

Above all else, keep praying for Joe and his family/friends.

how about instead of hitting up Joe's sponsors - you hit up the riders instead to pledge.

for example - I'll pledge $X each per backflip on Parrdaddy

make it each rider's responsibility to solicit and collect his (or hers) pledges

the amount doesn't matter, it's the thought that does

Why don't you guys allow barrel rolls too? Maybe something like $1 per backflip and $0.50 per barrel roll. This would include more people in the game, AND help out in the surf challenged areas :banghead:

We run bouys evey sun at the same spot.
I was thinking a marthon ski-athon
The only stops are for fuel.Last one standing kinda deal.I asked some non jetski peps at work if they would pledge per 10 min of riding.they all said if only turns out to be 10.00 or so sure,We would support your cause

I figure I buy girl scout cookies,wraping paper etc from these guys at work they can handle a couple bucks.

If we all have something going on at local lakes and oceans with local coverage who knows what will happen.

I dont know- I havent looked at one of those Jetski things since september!? eekkk
