some might think 3.5 lbs isn't much but add it all up, i have a bucket of stuff not going back on my ski and it is up to 18lbs

Yea, I agree that you can ditch some stuff that is just dead weight or not needed....I'm with ya.

But...going threw all the hassle of removing the tube from the tray, blocking it off, foaming in there, and such....screw it. I'd rather be working on my riding skills then worrying about some poundage thats not gonna make me ride any better.

I like to save weight on things when I can. It's a good thing. I like that when i upgrade i get the gain im looking for and lose a little weight, like you said it adds up. But to go to extremes and not get parts you like or do something this way or just do a PITA uninstall/install to save some pounds. No, I think its not worth it.

A stock hull even lightened up a ton will never ride like a aftermarket hull. I say if your thing is weight. Get a WD, WCF, Wammer, Blowsion, etc hull and hav fun. Stronger, leighter, and just feal so damn good. I have a thing for Chick's Wammer boat.....you just melt into that ski when you kick in:biggthumpup:

D-Roc

I forgot!
eveytime i ride i work on my skills but its winter and its time to work on the ski, everyone knows a stock SN won't be a lightweight hull compared to the new aftermarket. i lost 18 lbs, now run a front exhaust, and it cost me nothing. why wouldn't you do it is the question.

 My thoughts exactly.... I had to pull out the wet foam, so I decided to cut the tray out and do everything the right way! Whats so wrong with that? Id rather be a squid on good equipment, then a squid on a ragged out pos.:cool2:
