What does everyone use for fuel line, I gotta do two full SJ's and would pref like a color and something that will last a while. Is 1/4" ID and 3/8" OD the size to get.

tygon is going to have better wear and flex in the long haul. We used it in engineering applications more times than not. It usually comes down to cost.

Tygon works great! The fuel line at the tank is actually closer 1/4" but at the carbs and fuel valve it is closer to 3/16 ID. The line fits over the 1/4" barb at the tank real nice and at the carb fittings it is a perfect fit. I use small electrical zip ties just for the heck of it but really don't need any.

As you can see on the pic above I remove the stock lines at the tank and go with copper 90 deg fitting and barbed fittings. The stock alum lines are to fugly for me.

The blue line I got from LP (Paul) is holding up good. Those fuel filters do get a little soft though.

question, why do people coil up extra fuel line for the oneway valve?

Mark44 Brap!

mark you really should start a mcmaster carr thread.
as it seem's like you get all the small and common parts that break or need replacing from them. it would be helpfull to quite a few ppl.

if your up to it
