SXR Put a new C4 Chamber into our SXR bottom this weekend

Had some time this weekend with the cold rain, so we finally got around to installing a C4 Chamber into our SXR bottom hull.

Fit nice and easy, and was able to re-bend the bracket it came with to use for mounting.

Got the boat used late last fall so not much chance to get any time on it.

Spent alot of time this winter getting it all straigtened out to our standards, as it was in dire need of some "love and attention to detail" when we got it.

Tim (from the old TNT) says this Chamber will make it run like a beast!

We hope to get a chance to dunk it in this weekend.

I ran the tnt chamber on a 701 in my old school x2 for a brief period. It can be done. Can't recall if the chamber was dented to clear an sj though-may have been.

I know one of the rad dudes made a factory chamber that wraps around the front of engine fit. lot of fab work. guess it could be done just didn't want to spend the 550 and it not. that side wall is a pain the butt sometimes.

not trying to jack you thread dude... i would like to hear the review, after ya'll hit the water

Thanks for the offer but we're all good as far as testing goes.

With the SXR done and the final fitment and testing on the Super Jet almost done, we'll then turn our attention onto our old school X2.

As far as Wave Daze.

We already have 7 boats that we know 100% will be there with C4s on them, (and another half a dozen that the owners may or may make it) going to be there.

We'll also have 2 display boats there with C4s. So we're all set, but thanks for the offer.

That bracket setup is on a stock cylinder . No brackets for a Kawi Dasa ? It would have to go to the flywheel cover like on the Yamaha .

Not sure if this will be the pipe for a Dasa or not, as I have not heard any feedback yet.

Right now we're finding it hard enough just to keep up with the demand for the basic motor configurations out there. As we never though in 100 years that without the season really even here yet we'd be blowing through these this fast.

I'm sure we can make a bracket for the Dasa configuration if there is enough demand, we'll see how it goes.

But until then I think are more than enough Dasa owners out there who are real handy and will make their own if needed.

Most of these guys are way more involved in their boats and doing/making mods than the average owner by far. Most of these guys are real sharp at making things fit their needs.

So, I'm sure we'll hear something back soon from a Dasa guy.
