i would guess a 15/20 or 16/20

I'm with Brett on this one, I was running a 14/19 on my XS 846 SS motor in oem RN hull so the weight is within 15-20 lbs, 144 oem for 2 rides than swapped to a mag

I would say the 16/20 as the B pipe makes more bottom end , but less mid to top... Plus any time you stroke a motor it makes more torque

Your gonna have to buy a TBM which is a band aid for stock pump....

Hate to see you build the ski & not be 100% happy in the end... Biggest problem I see building these A/M ski's everyone wants the newest hull, & biggest motors, but then guys try to re write the book on setups & in the end most of the time guys aren't happy with the motor, or hull, pump , etc and there not happy with the builder.... Not trying to sound like a dick, I've had guys say this sucks or that sucks or its not right... But the setup was not followed to a T and thats what happens

Good luck with the build... Might want to talk with Brian from Thrust he had a XFS with a Dasa 930 running a 144 pump

Something to consider: by the time you buy s TBM cone, a new impeller, play around with nozzle sizes.....you could sell off the OEM stuff you have and pay a couple n hundred extra to get the mag setup you're going to need eventually, anyway.

That motor runs very hot do your self a favor and send your pistons and domes to swain tech and let them coat the piston tops skirts and domes the motor will last a lot longer. The coatings make the motor a lot more forgiving when it comes to buying good gas and it not being as good as you think.

Like he said, he's not running a mag this year. He's just looking for a impeller to get buy for the rest of the season. By the time he gets his hull there will only be 2.5 months of riding left for the year.

So what impeller would work decent without a TBM?

Right prop is hit or miss, most guys with these hulls/motors are running mag pump & a lot are running 148 mag pumps....

I would say a 14/19 or 15/20 Big hub mag prop without the TBM in a stock pump with the stock cone... Its not going to be the right setup but should get him buy....

yah i have full intentions on going with a mag pump but that will have to wait till winter this build keeps getting more expensive everyweek it seems like. i was just hoping to be able to put a decent prop in to get me by for the season. i know the mag pumps will make a BIG difference but unless i come across a smokin deal on one it will have to wait. and being up here in canada the parts selections for local dealers.....hell any dealers is minimal, xj and munki both live 2 hrs away from me and he has that 11/17 hooker anything else is coming from you guys down south. THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR ALL THIS HELP KEEP IT COMING AND HEY IF SOMEONE HAS A USED MAG PM ME LOL

If its only gotta get you by for the season, might as well buy the C75 skat prop you will put in your future mag pump (15/20 or 16/20) and live with the performace loss until then. Will be cheaper in the long run.

shawn do you have an xfs (looking at your avatar) if so what do you all run in yours

Mine is an FS2. I have a SS865 w/BPIPE & EPIC and stock FW (didnt even lighten it yet). Full XS package, their carbs, all their exhaust mods, and there pump specs. Running a 144 setback mag with 14/19 c75 and 86mm nozzle. The 865 has no problem turning my setup. I would think your 950 would need 15/20, maybe even 16/20 if your XFS is alot lighter then the FS2. I'm not sure the weights of them.
