I heard this was supposed to be a huge event... Good luck with your show and competitors....

If I was to throw a comp of this nature.. It would be the more the merrier... as long as they can put on a show... that is what people want to see... Big tricks... big bails... and from the small guy to the big guy... all giving it there best.... Looks like politics follows the sport everywhere.... thats cool.. Good luck.. I am sure the event will be awesome... For West coasters and "IN" People ! Wish I was cool !

I want it to be publicly known that I was only announcing that the rider list was up. I was responsible for putting together the web page and nothing more. I hold no stake in this event nor any influence in the decision making. I'm just the messenger.

You should be flattered to not be included, It means Joe actually thinks you could beat him!

The lanyards are for safety. If a handlepole breaks it can easily pinch the throttle cable, and if there is lots of people on the beach somebody could get hurt.

I'd have to echo the same sentiments from above. Seems more of a "Surf Slap" than a "Surf Slam" to me. Geez, and I'm driving out for this and convinced my wife how cool it was going to be to get her to fly and bring friends of hers from 3 hrs away. I guess the pressure's on Joe... :surprised:
