you are going to KILL yourself in the mud with those tires.....they would be great for the street, but leave the knobbies for the dirt/mud

seriously dude, those things will be like riding on ICE>...the stock DREZ tires look just like those and they are sitting ini my attic

Lets see, Nick goes riding in the mud (does not matter about tires), bike fish tails (dont tell me you do not know what I am talking about), Bike highsides Nick. Nick's Back gets all jacked up.........again and permanent damage follows.......... Not a great idea........

:fart:  :bad3:

I plan on switching them out as needed. I realize they are not great for sand/mud, but they will work well for street, which will be what I will be doing most of the time since I don't have a job and will not be making as many trips as I had thought.

damn, that was a long sentence.

that thing is sweet saki, but I need a plate..

WC that is EXACTLY what I want :Eyecrazy: maybe in another year..I have to destroy the DRZ first (it wont take long though :jester:)...Im leaving my bike pretty much bone stock..I did buy some protapers and handguards though, but those are necessities..

That is exactly what one of my friends have. I've rode it on and offroad, and it's a blast. He has two sets of tires for it. I was looking for one, but ended up getting a street bike. Just don't have time to hit some of the trails around here.

what is needed to make it street legal?

Some of the KTM's come with a 'manufacturers statement of origin'(MSO) that doesn't say 'offroad only' on them. Talk to a dealer, and they can tell you which ones. You can get a street title for them, but you have to put all the street legal stuff on them to get them to pass inspection here. Just a headlight, taillight, and a mirror is all that is needed here. You can also get them titled as 'offroad only', but once you do that you're screwed if you want to make it street legal later. Make sure when and if you buy one it doesn't say 'offroad only' on the title. Other states may use different wording. Some people don't even apply for titles if they're only using them offroad. In that case make sure they still have the MSO for the bike, and you can use that to get it titled for the street.

Gas Gas and Husquvarna's have some models that you can street title as well.

What next, a Republican?:Eyecrazy:

you central/north florida guys always seem to be a year or two behind the soflo influence.

it was just a matter of time. surprised it took this long. now we gotta wait till you get tired of riding in the silly woods and streets. by the time youre ready for mx, we'll probably be messing with jetpacks or ultralights or something. catch up already. sheesh.
