Yamaslut for King! (And Pancake too...)

It is so exciting to be watching this all happen. Funny or ironic or whatever but I hear stories from "the good ol' days" ALL the time & I think to myself --- what are you people talking about? How could it get any better than this? Where else on the planet can you come from Canada or Cali or St.Maarten & walk into an event & have a built in family?

Nick & Pete - this location was pristene! You guys had all of your ducks in a row & I can't wait for this to happen again next year. I am excited for us to be standing on the cusp of something even greater than any of could imagine.

Everyone had fun - the waffle house was awesome - the hotel was super accomodating - the sportsbar let us wreck that place (we drank them out of Jack & Captain ya & Redbulls 2 nite in a row ya know) the Jr Lifeguards & Beach Patrol were super incredible - the entire event was awesome!!!

I mean where else can you see - ParrDaddy - PatBogart - John Havell - Joe Kenney - Paul Lehr & even more all crammed into a HotTub?? Deff one of my fave moments of the weekend!!!

The skis on the beach - the bails - the back flips - the barrell rolls -- the mods - the crashes - the sideways surf & the abandoned sail boat -- ALL INCREDIBLE!!!!!

I am speaking on behalf of Joe Kennery - Taylor Curtis & Lonnie Peralta when I say that we had a great time. I don't think anyone else room could have smelled as bad as ours or been as trashed! It was pretty foul!!!

Also -- how bout the 754 MILLION AzHiAzIAm stickers that Jonesy sent for us to PLASTER EVERYWHERE!!!

Anyway -- good times - good people -- can't wait for next year!!!

Yeh, I have to say Pete and Nick did a great job. This was definatly one of the best weekends of my life!. Thanks to everyone who helped me get my boat back together especially Nick and Chick (sp?). If you guys didnt have the parts I needed my day would have ended early on thursday. I also want to thank Paul (Magoo) for letting me roll down with him and making the bet with me to do the back flip. Also thank you Pete for giving me the advice I needed to pull it off! Congrats again on you newest sponsorship!! you deserve it bro. SjBritt sorry about the handshake hope the wrist is feeling better. Ok off to the shop to help unload..

NICK,PETE,PAUL and CREW::::Yea,you guys did a great job of organizing this intire event,couldnt have been much better. Was great to see all that talent in one spot pushing everyone to the next level,being my first time on a SJ in the ocean I learned alot watching and talking to all the vets in the sport. My time on the blaster is gonna be short lived now that I have this SJ in FL for the winter.Got nose stabs pretty much down in my first day on the ocean with a SJ,So im looking forward to some more rides with ole yamaslut to be pushed to the next level on backys and BR. By the way,thanks for the invite to the gathering at your house nick,wish I couldve stayed for dinner,just didnt wana get in to late back in jacks,since im a guest here also. It was just a great time overall,I found myself wishing I could stay at the hotel and ride for a few more days.Riding with all you guys really speeds my progression on the SJ,Knowing what is really possible.
Ill have some good helmet cam edits up before to long.

The Outback was ****ing handled... we must have stuck AZHIAZIAM sicks on ever person, menu, ass, ketchup bottle, or light that we could find... great party times.... Thanks a bunch Laurel, Joe, Taylor, it was great to hang w/ you crazy ****ers again!!!!! Can't wait for Pismo!!!!!!!!

Also, it was totally awesome to host Fabien and Kris from X-Slide... They are some of the greatest people I have met in this sport.... Can't wait to see ya in the spring!!!!

I have formed so many great freindships with so many people this weekend... It just gives me goosebumps when I reflect back on it now.... I am just sooo stoked about the future!!!!

OK, someone had to start this thread. Nick, Pete and anyone else who were involved in the Daytona Freeride are AWESOME! It was a massive success from start to finish. The groundswell of freerides that built through 2004 and 2005 really crested and broke at Daytona, and the sport has truly entered a new era. The launch of this site really underpins that, and Daytona was the perfect event to announce it. I’m so excited about where the sport is going, and even more so to be here at the beginning.

You guys are awesome – people like you are the future of the sport. Thanks for everything, and for helping to usher in a New World Order.

Its come a long way from the 12 riders that were there the first time we came down from TN to ride w/ Nick. Thanks to all involved especially you Nick. Cant wait to do it again. I rareley post but this one deserves every possitive response it gets.

You guys represent what is great about this sport. I am new to superjets. Just got my first one about 8 months ago. I called Jr Magoos and asked Paul every question imaginable and then asked again when I showed up to get the new ride plate. You seemed like you didn't mind the questions at all even though I am sure you had other things you could have been doing. Slut every time I asked a question either in a post or through pm you always answered. Giving me honest answers. I would have gone out and bought a new sj but thanks to your honest answers I got a 90 square nose. I saved a ton of money and have a ski that is already all set up for freeride. Pete I met you outside of Wawa in Ocean City and even though you guys were in a hurry to get to the waves you had enough time to show me your ski and talk a bit.

From someone new to the sport you guys make it much easier for someone to get started.
