alright, you bastards keep morrissey out of it.

i *think* she prefers i spend my time working on my boat instead of my mx bike... when she see's the bike getting worked on, she knows its track time.. and although she supports the hell out of every sport i do.. i dont think she LIKES the mx... specially after stricky's little teeny tiny helicopter ride, his teeny tiny operation, and his teeny tiny 6 months recovering from it..
6 months and still going...

My wife gets mad if I just go out and lay down a coat of mold release. (were talking about 2 min of work every 30 min. :banghead:

my girl knows i need my garage time or i go ADD at home.. cant sit on the couch.. just cant do it.. i become irritable as hell.. but when its garage time 7 days/week for a few weeks at a time, it starts to become a problem.. definitely hard to balance.. and i purposely dont have any clocks in the garage.. so its easy to lose track of time.. sometimes i come out of the garage for a glass of water and it's like 11PM on a weekday.. not good.

when I don't get garage time i spend to much time on here. I get in trouble for that too. :banghead:

I need to start making money in the garage. she'd be cooler with it then

Just do what I do.

Wife hits the sack at 10:00. I work in the garage from 10 to 3:30.

my wife goes to bed around mid night. we have family time, dinner time, homework time. put the kids to bed. then she'd like me to watch TV with her for a little while or help do some random chore. I'm pretty much stuck with friday night and saturday day while she's at work while I'm with the kids, so it's not full emmersion then either. oh well, soon the kids will be old enough to help.

I think I need to name all of my ski's (HOMEWRECKER 1, 2 and 3) wife is furious when I get about a week into a project. She tries to hide it (god love her) but she only lasts about a week and it all comes out. This winter will be a rough one as there are 2 projects to complete before Daytona.

I can't believe it took me so long to notice this thread. Great work so far!! I've got a couple of glass questions for you. On your patch work, I noticed that you don't wet out the complete piece of cloth. I've never tried it that way before. I usually cut to size and then wet and stick, but your way looks useful in a variety of instances. How and when do you trim the excess? Do the edges fair down well? Also, what is your technique for getting the clean cuts/edges on the carbon fiber?

Mine sits in the garage with me, drinking & watching me work (she refuses to get her hands dirty, even on her ski!)
