xmetal pole.spring set up.

if you could feel the weight of the pole is wasn't tight enough.

Actually I rode it when it was really tight so it didn't feel heavy at all. I really don't like riding with a stiff pole though. Now if you loosen the pole too much then the pole feels very heavy.

^^^^Thats why I'm thinking a spring would be perfect because it could allow you to have a very loose pole and it would feel lightweight at the same time. Now I know you can adjust it to feel loose and light at the same time, but it sounds like you are constantly adjusting which is another reason why I think a spring would be a plus.

Thats my take on it.

I want everyone to see what they think of a OEM boat complete at 270lb. ;)

You take this way too seriously...forgwt impressing people online and ride your jetski

Exactly....I'm sorry but people complaining of XMW being too heavy is rediculous. If you have to hold the pole up, they need to be tighter....

when you go to roll or stab you dont gotta worry about a frigginpole trying to force its way out, costed me one hell of a aching rib one day.

Yes....it will feal uncomfortable for a week or two then after that you cant ride with anything else. I cant stand the fealing of a loose pole. I can brace against my tightened one and i dont go flying up or down....its just way nice...give it a shot

i need to try to different peoples ski with the x pole .i just got mine and i can get it really stiff or loose having trouble findnig the sweet middle spot. i like the idea of a spring alway like the way poles float.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead, but I think you would be able to use a modified aftermarket square nose spring on an x-metal bracket. The stock bracket on a square nose doesn't have a place for the spring either, the bottom of the spring itself is just bent to lay on the bracket. Or you can run the x-pole on a different bracket.
