X2 pump sealant

I'm reinstalling a pump in my X2. I can't remember what to use to seal it up FAST. I usually use RTV silicone or something similar, but it takes 12-24 hours to cure. I know for 100% sure I've read of something I can use, that will set in a couple hours. Any ideas what to get?

Yeah I think thats 24 hour cure too. I picked up some great stuff at Napa, I'll report the results soon. Permatex product, $18.99 a can. This is some extremely fast curing stuff. Should do the trick.

what about 4200? I sealed up something on a sj the other day and it was good and dry in 2 hours.
But then it was sitting out in the sun at 90 degrees.

use the right stuff, your ski is black any ways.

Not the bottom. And I could care less what it looks like anyway, haha. Right stuff got me on the water in no time, but it's not as smooth as rtv would have been. It's very "clumpy" in comparison. Very fast in a pinch though. I rode yesterday around 11:00AM, and my pump bearings completely gave out. I was back on the water by 4:00PM with a different pump I pulled from a spare hull. Drilled and tapped it for cooling, changed prop and cone, and back on the water in a few hours. The lake is almost a half hour from here, too.
