Surfriding X-metal trim ring issue

My attempts are coming off of 50+ foot motor yacht wakes, plenty of height, not enough form. average wake in my neck of the woods is 3-4 ft., the big ones are 8, no shortage of big boats in Maryland

I can see it happening with a short pole and lots of technique

he did.....repeatedly.......those are the kinds of skills I suppose you develop after working with a 1000cc for a couple years.....

You should have no problems coming around on anything that big. Where are you hitting the wake?
I find that I have to hit it right behind the boat. You need the whitewash to kick you around.

Trim cable is in. Wrapped the whole thing from the lever to the firewall with black tubing. Should last longer this time. Soooo much easier to pull with a fresh cable!
