which intake grate is for what use? Worx 201 vs 205. I can get the 201 for $115 and the 205 for $80. I'm running stock now so either will be an upgrade.

If I remember correctly the 201 is deeper. Unless you run on glassy, buy the deepest grate avail!

I've been running the deep Worx for years and its great (on SJ). Pulling on the beach is like hitting the brakes.

the 201 is deeper, but do you really want that for freeriding? what do most people run? I was thinking about getting the 205 for just freeriding. I've got the 201 on my blaster and it hooks up great.

what do you all think? what did you ever end up going with tim?

At what point would you want less hook-up? I would only want the #205 or less aggressive intake for flat water. Putting a 201 on my B1 caused me to lose up to 2mph in the flat...but who cares.

BTW: I have the Worx 201 and an R&D "double-deep" intake. I will say the R&D is possibly even more aggressive than the Worx. The R&D has a deeper rear ramp while the Worx rear ramp is flush with the hull.

the rapid intake is a direct knockoff of the 201...i have one on my square and slutty ran one as well.....

FYI, not a "knockoff" but auctually the predecessor to the worx 201. Rapid changed names and became Worx at some point. I have one of each... (rapid & worx) identical... Same and hands-down the best!

^ justification?

I've always heard the 201 was better. I can stand a little less top speed for better hookup in chop anyways. For racing of course its a no-go.

205 is less aggresive then the 201 (slot cut out making it not grab as much water), but I'm not sure as to why this would benefit.

So do you want the added hook up, or are you better off without it for freestyle? Maye the 201 keeps the boat too glued to the water when you want to do flat water BR's and BF's? Can someone clear this up for us???
