worst ebay packaging job EVER

i won a RN hood for 15.00. guy said he had it packaged by U.P.S and it cost 25.00 then shipping was going to be another 150.00 to ship cuz the box was so big!! he then left me pos. feedback before i paid . he then asked if i still wanted it.basically gave me the option to pay the shipping or forget the whole thing. i declined on the hood and then left a good communiction feedback and we were both happy. needless to say, you only spent 30.00 on shipping when most hoods ship for at least 70.00 and its in one piece. i say leave pos feedback, or nuetraul (spl?) because of the time frame, but not neg.

I got 2 hoods shipped to me a year or so ago, both in seperate HUGE boxes, packed WELL with foam, and it was $40 or so for BOTH of them..

could of been worse,Ill post pics of how my whole ski was shipped from a dealer. They threw it down on top of a raw metal crate,2 tie downs,ran a fork lift over the front corner then set it in the truck so it could slide around on the metal all the way form michigan to texas. It looked like hell when it got here, I almost refused it. The ski was just taken off the show room floor too, I was a little sick. Even though I knew I was goin to beat it up,it still would be nice for it to be "NEW" like I paid for. The ski had dents and dings all over,the turf was torn,tray full of rusty water residue.

I got a crank from ebay that came in a box...
However, it was just tossed into the box, not in a trash bag or wrapped in anything... BUT they did protect it somewhat.. they filled the big oversized box half full with packing penuts.... The UPS driver left the box at the end of my driveway because my dog was outside, as I walked up to it I saw half of the crank sticking out... I just though to myself.. awww ********! But it turned out to be a pile of crap anyhow, so I got my money back from paypal...


BTW I hate sellers on ebay just for the fact that they wait for you to leave feedback before they leave you yours.... even though you paid right away. the longest I've gone with out paying was two days, unlike sellers who sometimes wait 2 weeks to even ship the item... THEN hold the feedback over your head... I now have neg feedback because the seller was a dip********.....
Even though you guys most likely sell on ebay too, I think I'd rather buy through the forums... Only buy ebay if I see a good deal... But most things are over priced to make up for the fees that the seller passes onto you.


Oh yeah, I don't think neg feedback is called for... I would leave pos feedback because you lucked out, but write that was packed poorly, and for buyers to beware that items may be packed poor...

i decided im not leaving feedback...keep it simple..i did email his saying his packaging job was pretty poor but i doubt ill hear anything back from him
