Withdrawals...

Its been like 3 weeks since ive ridden my ski. Not even sure if it works any more. Had some problems, hopefully will be solved by the new plugs but the weather has been so bad plus to busy for with school and work to even make it to the lake. I hate not being able to ride. Winter is gonna suck unless i get a suit. Anyone else missin the h2o?

Im praying for good weather sunday and someone to go to the lake with me

i just got healthy enough to ride my bike again, its my first love, and havent been on a ski in 2 weeks and i am already missing it. im hoping snowmobiles will help with the cravings to hit water this winter!

I haven't touched my ski in probably over a month. Finally got it where I want it and have had little desire to ride.:banghead:

No flooding near me but some of the once lazy rivers now look like niagra from what my dad tells me. and lake jackson is well overfull (or was). Our seawall was submerged and many docks that stationary are under. Im sure they have been letting water out though

iv been out of the water for over 2 weeks :(
my pipe coupler ripped, and something was up with my bendix,
iv been broke/ too lazy to get a flywheel gasket and order the couplers

i just ordered them yesterday, and got my bendix working.

when i heard the starting sound i got so excited, im 1/2 way done ...... now i just gotta wait for my parts and hopefully go riding this wekeend!!!

Been on my SJ a whopping 5 times this year. last time was over a month ago. Actually, I think it was in July actually!

Been on this for the past few weeks. Started back riding MTB about a month ago and realized that I ride the bike an average of 52-100 times a year = Time for a New Bike = Time to sell the SXR since I average 2 times a year on it and no more racing.

I got only 150 gallons through my motor this year.
Now my finger is busted, I need to rebuild my crank (stupid used cranks :soapbox:) and cylinders, I got school and work going on, and on, and on, and on......

I miss it, but there are other things that take precedence. Like finishing school and paying for my repairs in cash.

There haven't been waves on Lake Michigan in over a month. And this is in the prime of our few month long 'wave season' that I have been waiting for like a kid at Christmas. Yes, I am definitely going through withdrawals. However my fix is near, it is supposed to get ugly out there starting Sunday and the forecast for Monday is currently in the 13' range. Time to batten down the hatches and prepare for battle!!!
