I was out riding yesterday in the waves during the T-storm in galveston with Mick and my girlfriend. Was having a good time after i got a ski that was actually running into the water. Went for my first roll of the day, and almost nailed it. Then not ten minutes later, went for another attempt and came up way too short. Landed upside down with the tail end lower, and the force shoved my face into the bars at just the right angle so the helmet face opening went straight around the bars and of course, my head missed the cross bar pad COMPLETELY. anyways, made it back to shore after i started seeing red. No camera at the scene so didnt get the Blood covered face picture i would have loved to have gotten, so here is the aftermath, after its been superglued back together. Doctor said the cut was extremely deep and was surprised it didnt hurt me at all. In the end, ended up with a nice little bump on the head and a pretty good size gash in the forehead. :biggrin: Guess i need a full faced helmet for next time and a set of motocross bars with a super massive pad.
