Super Jet Will a Square nose bottom fit on a Round nose top deck?

I know the bottom of the hulls are the same but are the bond lines the same? Are the bottoms interchangeable? I'm thinking the "square nose" and the "round nose" won't match and they would have to be hacked up to work.

Yes, and we've done one before. I'd say save the time and just go buy a round nose hull, but it can be done with some cutting and glueing.

The bond line on the nose has to be modified slightly because the SN is more....square at the very front. Other than that, it's the same. Do a search on top deck conversions for more details.

like waternut said, the nose section is a little different. look at watercraft factories website. he has a nose kit to make the conversion work.

You have to chop a good portion of the front lip off then rebuild it. On my conversion I took the opportunity to build the nose after the top deck was on so it's all one solid chunk of glass, carbon/kevlar, and carbon fiber.

The SN bulhead needs to be hacked up pretty good to make it fit.

I'm thinking you would just use the RN bulk head. It should fit perfectly since the square bottom is the same as a RN except for the front, which wouldn't affect the bulk head. To bond the two together just use a good two part epoxy

Pliogrip is what is used for stock bonding I believe but there are plenty of other things you can use like 5200. If you do some research, a few guys have run without bulkheads in top deck conversions.

i have the # to order pilogrip.( green glue) its about 45 a tube and you need at least a few

There's a place here locally in San Diego that sells Pliogrip. I have some in my garage which I use from time to time. I also have the gun and mixing tips also
