Will 760 crank fit in 701 cases???

My problem is I have a 701 motor. And I have a crank brand new for a 760. I need to know are the cranks the same or do I need to 760 the top end of my motor. I would love to be able to leave it 701. 760 is a big price jump. to have to do carbs and cylinder and all.
