last night just for fun we weighed my 66e motor and my lamey motor
both are long blocks w carbs/front elect/exh mani.
66e sat fat @ 115
lamey was slim @ 85

you still gonna run the 66e in the RN after weighing that shiot? that's a pretty sizable difference.

ive already shaved the front mounts
66e motor is set up with riva billet, head wdk intake, m16 reed valves ,gas pvs,wdk exh mani,stock elect , and starter
lamey motor is ada girdle head, rd m16 intake/reeds ,fpp dry mani,stock elect, and starter
the 66e is not a 1 man job getting it in or out of the hull
it has been in/out 2-3 times for various fittings and it sux lifting it

Hows the fitting of the exhaust man. to the hull? Can you run Kenny keepers with that setup? I've been thinking of doing this convertion, have you rode one?

im running the wdk exh plenty if room from hull

kk's don't fit. they actually get in the way.

Just wondering, you running stock motor mounts? What are you doing with the battery, location?

i will be running the sj motor mount system in the wdk conv kit
it uses the oem mounts and you shave off the oem 800 mounts off the mag cover
the battery will stay in the same place on my ski ,or you could relocate
