why don't you compete in freestyle?

Hmmmmmmmmmm, go back and read my book!!!!!!!!!!!! There was a kid that really could not do any big tricks...............But the crowd went wild watching him, we all did............ What does that mean............ YOU......... get out there and just have fun................ who cares if you flop.........you will get better........... It is all about the show......... if you screw up, do something funny because of it............ It cannot hurt, hell, the judges will likely to give you some bonus points............ I remember a few years ago, I believe Josh Lustic's ski broke, he hopped up on the hood with the ski just floating there, and did a bunch of antics!!!!!!!!!! IT all about the show..........

^^^^^lol. Josh lustic is one funny MOFO! I wish he would get off the wake skate, and fishing pole and start riding again. I could realy bennifit from riding with him I am sure:sneaky: I think his boat as well as Brads are getting some repair work as of right now....hopefully they will be getting back in the game:biggthumpup: Them boys got talent.

yeah, it would probably really help the sport all around if more people competed. i have seen a lot more kids on ski's in the bay here every year so far. it just grows the more people see it and get interested in it.

no skill here... yet... working on it.

just riding with people and seeing people who are better than you helps push your own level... it's just like anything else.

That is teh problem.......... " I dont compete because nobody else does" If one person here that uses that excuse, if they would go out and try it, maybe some guy in the crowd would see it and say, "Hey, I am as good as that guy, I will try it tommorow or at the next competition" What do you have to lose.........nothing............ There is no payback as far as money goes in AM Freestyle........... Just the reward of having fun and trying to get better everytime.

You people need to quit being such panzy asses and go give it a try. I compete with way less then alot do and more then others have. I cant BR and im not the most incredible rider. I still have one hell of a time and do alright

You guys have talked me into it. The bigbore is going in. :biggthumpup: Now I just need take a look at wich event I want to go too. Anyone else from the FL down for it? Come on people! I wont back down neither.

We actually been saying you dont need extra stuff just to compete but whatever....bring yourself.....

You ride flat too? Not tons of surf event si know of but thats just my knowing

^^^^Yea, I actualy ride flat more often then surf. I think I am better in the surf. Still working on my Flat Water roles, and that is my main reason I am ready to put my Flat top motor together. I hate the way my 701 stock port with dual 44's hits. I get more air without a setup wake then with. I do everything fairly fast because of the way my motor hits. It may be a little rich on the Bottom though.

hey Matt.......... for the longest time I could get farther around without the setup.......... problem is that I could not get the nose up enough to finish the rotation........ about a month or so ago I went to help Paul with his shop (actually, 2 months ago).......... on Sunday we went to Lanier.......... first Roll I attempted I did a setup wake........ I guess the moon and sun were alligned becuase I started to roll............ Still have alot of work to do.............. but I was gettign them off the setup wake.............. no real effort to make the wave, just got to hit it just right............
