i think its silly to suggest taking the site offline because of a 'dramtic' argument about plastic tubing vs metal tubing.

that is the most dramatic thing ive seen so far.

if theres something on a channel on tv that you dont like, do you call and whine to the station, sponsors and FCC or do you just change the channel?

ok who has actually seen lil if any drama on this site besides in this thread, i'm on here every day but all i see is people getting help, selling stuff, getting ready for daytona or just screwin around with funny stuff in the off topic section. i mean really, this site is great. this is my home when im not riding.

the X makes me not think about work, and start thinking about my ski.
the X makes me see both sides to a situation (i have no choice)
the X shows me great paintwork & ski designs
the X Teaches me to think twice about my choices with products
the X introduces me to other people in my area (for years there were few)

Mark, that is easy for you to say, but not so easy from this side.
I dont want to have to go to heavy moderation, why? it envolves more work on our part, takes more of the fun out of it, takes way too much time because we now have to start following every thread. But if we have to we will.

I actually like the drama it is some funny stuff. If people don’t like it they can change the station. :biggthumpup: On your side I would just lock my PM box and change email address.

There is some funny stuff, it is the stuff that gets carried too far and then the insults start flying....... That is when the site starts going downhill.
We are all grown ups (well, most of us are), we should be able to act that way and be respectful.

I am living in Brazil for the time being. It's really a Bi%ch to be away from home.
Riding here is something of a differnt world. I am excluded from having all the cool parts, and help here ( riding is strong down south where Lenzi is, not where I am).

As I see it, we do have a big community here. We are united here. As for all the bickering and stuff, we have to remember, there are a lot of different people with very diffenent backgrounds here and when that happens, there will be drama and such. But that just makes it interesting . We can all learn a lot from that. Just keeping in mind that people do have opinions that do not relate in anything to ours and that might offend others. grow some thicker skins my friends. I do not think modertating this site will help any, probably just making this site not as good.

I have learned everything from you guys. I ride today because you guys afford the knowlage i need to keep riding. No where else I would have that.
We all need this site as is. We are all inter-related , dissiminating our beloved sport and always making it better. MUCH BETTER.

I say we are on the right path and should continue on such. All the bickering as I have seen is diminishing.

I really should thank all you guys for your posts and info, and I don't speek for myself , but for many, you ALL make this sport a hell aof alot better , more competitive, and easier to hurdle all obstacles in riding.

X-H2O is the way to bring us all closer and help everybody. That is the main reason I am always here.

Exactly right. I think the one drama thread is getting way more publicity and carrying way more weight than it deserves. The helpful, fun, friendly posts outnumber the flame wars about 999 to 1.

I come here to try to learn something and sometimes for a good laugh.
I really hope to be a new stand up rider by next year. Had to put the stand up on hold because the wife wanted a couch to tool around with the kids on. So, I bought the next best thing.....a couch with a 701. :smile: At least I'll be familiar with the motor :biggthumpup:

I rather enjoy the conflicts (dramma). It brings out peoples true feelings and some info that might not normally come out. I loved your threads on builds and on your trip to WD. I even like the critasism brought by Charlie and others because answers surface from them. Even if the point is mute, something comes from it from someone somewhere down the like. It takes different folks w/ different strokes to keep this stuff flowing. I dont look at it as drama, our group here in Nash hammer eachother this same way in the friggin garage, its no different here IMO. Its all good, cant take it personal, hold to your opinion and voice it w/ some attitude if ya want.

we're a free, open site, we can't do that, what if some new guy to the sport looked on here and we're all cussing each other out. dosen't make us look good. thats the good thing about this site is even if your not a member you can still look at all the fourms and we shouldn't change it just so we can have a "war room" as it was called on PWCT.
