there is a north PWC zone and a South PWC zone Scotty... south zone is where we were last sat. North is 5 min from my house

ahhhhhh, didnt realized there were 2 zones......
just talked with butti and E.....we are maiden voyaging ANOTHER boat this weekend (custom B1) for a new member of the st. aug crew......
we'll have the pontoon out in full effect and a good platform for taking some video..
so, looks like we are riding the point this wekeend but will def be down for another DB ride most likely next weekend!!!!!!
try and get some pix of the new boat tonite...its got a SWEET completely airbrushed paintjob by a pro..

IMHO when it's small there are better breaks at Vilano, in deeper water. There's a lot more area to choose from, a north and a south side w/minimal cheese graters and NO surfers or rules to speak of.
And it's 40 minutes further from my house, plus free (REALLY GOOD) steaks at my brothers. :biggrin: :biggrin:

It's only by the inlet for two more weekends. We should definately take advantage of that. You got to admit; you can't beat that beach, break, or babes.

idok&butti,why dont we do a ride in daytona saterday and ride back up here on sunday with the pontoon. get some serios riding in this weekend,ill take off saterday this might be the last weekend im here. Id like to ride that beach break again with small clean surf on the sj.

Here's a couple shots. Bill takes his pics with a 7.0 mega pixel camera. The file size is very large and has to be reduced significantly to post. I also put some in the gallery section. Bill said he'll bring a disk with him this weekend. We'll be able to post some more pics then.

WOW was anyone else caught off guard by the sneak swell that showed up today?!
i didnt see any surf reports that called it ahead of time. what a nice surprise to have chest to occasional head high faces with spray blowing off the top when you were expecting near flat conditions.
butti, had it reached st. aug when yall were out this am? it built all through the day as the tide came in.
actually as i read back through this thread it's looks like yamaslut called it back on thurs. yeah nick:cheer:

I didn't get out but, the pictures looked good on the report for St. Aug. I am pretty sure the rest of the local crew rode so we should get a report soon and hopefully there will be left overs for tommorow!!!!!!!!!

Vilano was goin' off today! :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin: Especially the outer north break. Solid chest high waves, with maybe a dozen overhead. The wind never really picked up enough to blow spray, & it was clean between sets.

Soul Man showed & I rode his ski again; at my skill level it hits WAAAAY too hard, much harder then Pauls. Kudos to ya Greg for riding such a beast. :hail:
