Super Jet Who needs to buy a tool when you can make one! ;)

Soo the story here is, I bought a Heavy duty Blowsion spring, however using it with my hazard bracket and ac racing, (rick roy heavy duty handpole) I found that the spring literally made my pole shoot up like a catapault. It was actually hard to hold the pole down while holding the bars, Opposite of what we all expect. I made this Jig today while on a break at work, and put it in a vice. Tweaked my spring with a bar attached to the long piece of the spring and was able to bend it to the perfect tension on my ski!! I am sure there are riders out there, who have old springs that have lost their tension. Make one of these bad boys and you can bend the spring to get at least one more season!

when installing any aftermarket spring make sure to have your complete steering in place, the pole will rush up without chin pad, turn plate, bars, etc.....but once all is on it makes a difference....furthermore if you store your ski you want to store it with pole up to release spring , these will weaken over time and you will find yourself re-bending them again.....good pole spring defiantly releases "tennis elbow" problems
