White Hydro-Turf

Thinking about using white hydro-turf on my up and coming project however i have heard some stories that it looks crap after a few trips out? Anyone got it? Comments?

it depents on if ur in mud,sand,or rocks, if its mud or sand maybe but iv heard that a good soap wash will take care of it

if you water has any kind of clay in your gonna want to use a darker color

I love white turf. It's beautiful. I'd turf the whole house in white if I could.

as soon as you sink your ski on the beach and start to do work on it it looks like crap, my mate has it and is dirty dirty dirty , just me 2 cents

I did my neighbors SJ last spring in all white diamond turf. After we turfed it-we soaked all the turf with 3 cans of fabric scotchgaurd from Wal Mart and it has held up great! I have even gotten greasy hand prints on it-clean it w/a little degreaser and water and it comes perfectly clean. ScotchGaurd is where it's at!

I have only seen it in person twice and once it was all nasty and stained. The other looked nice but I don't know how new it was.

I think here in Lake Erie it would be toast on day 1.

i saw a ski with white turf at a competion. The lake bed was a red clay... His turf was looking horrible. i'll stick with black and grey.

Yeah i thought it might look s**tty after a short period. However the scotch guard idea seems good.

Will have to give it some more thought.

little brush or sponge, soap, degreaser if needed - work fine. White is PIMP!

Just go with black or gray,dont have to worry about gettin it dirty as much,dont have to srub it to get stains out.

Mostersj had white on his. He isn't the most fussy guy I know and his stayed looking decent.
You will just have to be more careful with it when you are wrenching.

I had it on my fx1 for 2 years only problem I ever had was when I set the greasy end of the drive shaft on it, permanent stain. Other than that castrol sper clean and a white brush dedicated for that turf and nothing else and you will be fine. I am definitely gonna use it again I love it
