FX-1 Which & What Impeller to run, & what is everyone else running

Alright so I picked up a 19/24 skat trak like new for like $20. But I feel as if I lost some bottom end over stock and gained top end. I'm running 180-190 psi of compression to both cylinders with some internal work done, waterbox, aftermarket ride plate and intake grate. Just curious to know what might be better between all the different pitches. There are so many impellers out there for every different engine mod so any suggestions would help. Let's see what everyone else is running so we can all gain some more bottom end, although drinking a few less beers might help out as well haha.

I think about the best prop from skat is the 18/23 for bottom end.
Somehow both my FX1's came with these and they hit pretty good, but I have Bpipe and 195 psi head too.

I think impros might have a hooker for the FX-1 now. Dave mentioned it to me a while back but I've never heard of anybody trying it. Most FX-1 enthusiasts opt for the 144 pump.

How is that 144 pump conversion? notice a big difference? Easy to install?

Big difference. YES

Easy to install. The pump's not to bad but the pump shoe is a PITA

or you can go Kawi 140. Its mucho easy

Not sure of what prop I have now (aftermarket) but I do have a 140 kawi pump with a 10/18 ready to go in my fx1. I can't wait!

we just tried a skat 12/17 swirl in a kawi 140 pump this weekend...


didnt have an intake grate on so a little bit of cav right off idle but other than that it felt GREAT!!!
