Which footholds?

Got a new hull and not having footholds sucks so I need to start shopping. My last hull had Waterdawg holds modified to be wider and better contoured inside, I really liked them and am thinking about going that direction again but wanted to see if there was something else I overlooked. They need to be big enough to fit my size 12s and I really like a hold that most of my foot fits in, not just a little toe hold. The XFT X3 holds look nice but I don't think they will fit my REV gunwales, is there anything else out that is shape similar that doesn't contour to the back of the tray? Or should I just get some foam and shape my own?

I was a huge fan of my waterdawg revs, but like you said, my only complaints were the inside of them was far too "boxy" I also didnt quite like how they are both angled straight ahead instead of pigeon toed out. But other than that I love them.

Right now I have the general Tom21, rickters copys, and they are ok but just to small. Any padding in them and a big foot with a shoe just isnt really jammed in easily...

Exactly how I feel, rickters, 24/7, cyclone, wammer, wcf whatever footholds all feel the same, to small and cramped. Gonna go stick my feet in some Trinity holds this weekend to see if I like them otherwise it seems custom or modified REVs are my only choices.

look at the blowsion klowners for your canoe's

I considered the klowners but they just look like all the other footholds listed above but longer in the toe area. I need something taller, and deeper to give me good coverage and that locked in feeling.
I wish I could afford some RRP adjustable holds, those look nice.

10.5s but I need a 4E wide, usually New Balance is all I can wear. Love my REVs in my SN and my 750. Not impressed with other holds I have tried, but havent tried some of the newer ones. Do not like toeholds
