just like it says i am wondering which cylinder would give you more bottom end brap.a stock lamey with the 7 ports or a ported 61x with 5 ports?

i totally agree.its all eye candy wish list stuff for me, though.i dont have a million bucks.But a BB billet cylinder is the way to go, and the more stroke the better..

A Lamey cylinder isn't some magical unicorn - it just has a bit more port area (and maybe powervalves). A good port job on a stock cylinder will also increase port area.
IMHO it would be a terrible waste to use a nice aftermarket cylinder without porting.
Any A/M cylinder has alot more port area,more than your gonna get from a ported stocker,theres no comparison in flow if its done right and port matched to good flowing cases.Ive rode old school lameys,able,r&d stock strokes that rocked some BB stroker stockers.
