Which Air Filter Do You Prefer?

i am looking at either a pro-k filter or a tau ceti filter. either one i get i will be using an outer wear on it. i heard somewhere about pro-k's falling apart, but i dont know how true it is. any pros or cons on either one. i am not using the stock one because im running a black jack carb.

Prok's later makes are known to have the "vortex" cone on the top come unglued and fall in. My SeaPoo has some and I never had a problem, don't know when they were made though.

I'd reckon it's from people removing them wrong and twisting them off from the top or filter piece, not the base. Have seen K&N's and others do the same.

IMO fab the stock setup, it's much better for the use we're intending to put our ski's through.

i am using the thrust innovations adapter on my Black Jack with OEM single FA.

Bluegtate took a regular FA adapter, bored out the middle some. Then tapped the bottom of the holes to accept the bottom of the stock FA hardware. He then used a silicone hose to couple the FA adapter turned upside down to the black jack carb. Worked great and didn't cost much b/c he already had an FA adapter available I think.
