So here's my question: Whats the best bang for my buck to make a better freestyle ski, if I'm looking to spend around $1000-1500?

Current setup is listed in my signature. My 735 had a very mild seize so its due for its last overbore (84mm) which is going to cost me around $300 to fix.

What I've been considering:

Big Bore/Stroker Options
- 62T Big Bore and run 89mm pistons, 846cc, or
- HPE 809 Long rods kit, or

Bore the current 61x to 84mm ($300ish) and 1 of the following:
- New set of carbs (Something like dual Novi's or Blackjacks, etc) & a reed stuffer, or
- PFM 148 Mag Pump (http://www.x-h2o.com/index.php?threads/the-pfm-low-budget-big-pump.160675/), or
- TNT V3 complete exhaust with waterbox (From reviews its seems to significantly outperform the B-pipe)

Keep in mind any of the last 3 I would sell the parts I take off to recoup some cost. Same goes for the big bore by selling my old cylinder and head. I'm willing to stretch the $1500 limit a little, if needed. The thing I'd like to do is buy parts that will transfer over to a bigger motor down the road but thats not a requirement.

If you have any other suggestions please let me know.

Buy lottery tickets and hope for the best. But on the realistic side of things, I've been very happy with my Hpe 809.

Id go big bore. if you go with hpe send him your manifold and head pipe to be bored too.
I already bored out my bpipe manifold and head pipe when I ported my cylinders. But ya I'm leaning towards the HPE 809. Mainly cause I can recoup some money by selling my crank, cylinders, head , and one of my pistons that is still like new. I think after I sell all my parts to put towards it, I can get the hpe kit, ADA head, 62t cylinders, and pistons all said and done for around $1200 out of pocket.

You need a rebuild anyway, the HPE 809 is going to be a good upgrade BUT IMO kind of a waste on a stock pump / 08 impeller.

You should also upgrade to a 148mm / hooker.

Keep me in mind for your pump / impeller needs. We have the Solas 144, and 148mm in stock, and address the bearing fitment issues.
