Where to mount limiter rope and hood straps on SXR

I just got some hood straps and a limiter rope from blowsion. Where do you guys mount the hood strap eyelet on the steering plate. It seems like there are several spots it could go and blowsions pic shows a SJ steering plate not a SXR. Also on the hood straps where do you mount the ends that go down by the hood lock? do you drill holes down there or could you just use the fuel/choke knob mounting screws? I would rather not drill holes in my fiberglass hull. Any other places to mount it. For the front of the strap it says to drill threw the spring tensioner and mount them there? I really don't want to drill threw my TBM spring tensioner and if you mount it under the hood hooks it puts them at a angle and makes it a pain to put your hood on

I used the fuel/choke screws, and it seems to be holding up fine (the knobs are harder to turn though)
I think I mounted the front using the bolts that hold the accordion thing with the cables going through it.

Here is my setup. I used a couple of bolts, nuts and washers to mount my straps on the dash and then used the pole bracket bolts for the other end. Here is the link
