I For me it has become personal. One of them told my finace she should get rid of me because I mocked him at the ramps one day.

I feel I need to clarify this. I was half awake and pizzed off at this thread topic!

One day I was being a LITTLE crabby toward an ODNR officer and kind of giving him the "get on with it" attitude during a friggin' fire extinguisher inspection. When I walked away apparently he told my GF, "You should lose that guy". This little puke sack will apologize to my face this summer if I can recognize him. This is one of the reasons I got out of law enforcment. I have never seen so many friggin "players" and player haters at a job since.

At least I understand how they feel now when they say one of "us" can ruin it for everyone because one of "them" ruined for there side. Well, that and everyone of them who can't use there discretion on whether or not a friggin stand-up should have a fire extinguiser and a lanyard.:banghead:

Years ago I ran into the same situation, we would put bouys in and ride, no one said anything. One day the fish commission stopped us and we thought he would ticket us but He offered to help us get a permit. now every year I pay a permit fee $10, and we're legal. If it's possible it would be worth it to get a permit and ride worry free, I'm in Pa. so your laws or permit fees might be different
