Whats the best way to seal your hood?

I have a 2000 roundnose superjet, and have just purchased a new carbon fiber hood. ( courtesy of Jason Vomit ) What is the best way to seal and latch the hood for heavy surf riding? Aftermarket front hood hooks? and what seal or gasket is best to keep water out of the hull? Thanks, griggsmars

I think above opinions are right.... cheap options don't work as good as oem

This is all I have, a buddy is ordering one but due to the solid lake we wont be able to test for a few months. If it works well it seems like a nice alternative to the OEM unit and wouldn't require removal for paint jobs.
