what to do. my pro tec CDI went out.

my pro tec cdi went out and was just wondering what I should do? I was thinking about the Tempest 3 but dont know if its worth it. I have not had the best luck with MSD but I am considering geting one for the money. My friend as a new purple Riva cdi but I dont know to much about them and whats it worth? any info would help. Thanks

Get another stock CDI (cheap) and get it modified to remove the rev limiter.

Then you'll have another Pro-Tec CDI.

Don't bother with an MSD Enhancer, unless you can get it for under 70 bucks.
You could go with an Advent for about $500.

it a 2000 superjet with a westcost head, factory pipe, and thats about it. I think it was rebuilt acouple years ago, but dont know for sure. its compression is about 160 on each cylinder. dont know to much about motors so I cant tell you if its 61x or 62t but i was told it was the original motor. thanks

i have a complete ebox with a Stock CDI with an adjustable REV limiter if your interested

oxnard how much were you thinking? I am going to see how much my friend wants for his riva cdi but I dont have any idea what ist worth and if its to much I will buy yours.

If I am not mistaken, a RIVA CDI is a modded stock CDI with a RIVA sticker.

all I know about the riva is thats purple and adjustable, so it might be.
