Chris, there is some good advice in this thread for you. Go shorter on the pole and adjusting steering/turnplate is much easier. I am about 6 foot and I first changed to -2 pole and -2.5 steering. It was hard to get used to at first, but now a stock length feels terrible to me.
I got used to -4.5, switched steering shorter about to about -5 total. Now I just got a new -4 pole to install for daytona and will be at -7.
A friend told me to start at -4...I should have listened. Also, I think the team bill pole can be ordered in many different lengths. Finally, it is more money, but have you seen the thread for the new adjustable xmetal pole which will include everything including chinpad?
I have been happy with the xmetal poles, but the team bill looks nice.
