What kind of pipe?

Hey guys,

im wondering what kind of pipe i should get for my totally stock SN SJ

its basically winter here in IL so im reinforcing the hull, refoaming, getting a impeller and grate hopefully, and i was wondering what kind of pipe is good for my 650 6m6 motor?

i have seen the different type pipes for factory and other brands but i have no idea what one is good for mine ... thanks guys

coffman sizzler...arguably the best pipe out there for the 650. Can be found fairly cheap too.

is it easy to put on? very new to ski and just pulled out my motor(thought that was kinda easy .... and what is considered cheap?

The Coffman Sizzler worked great for me. You can find them for waverunners pretty cheap. The only difference is the stinger. Coffman will send you one for $50. Just ask and they will send you the installation instructions as well. The instructions have all the carb settings for you. I think I paid 160 for everything.

You can also find used superjet sizzlers but they are usually a little more.

so whats better the coffman sizzler for the sj or for the wave runner and is that w the manifold, manifold gasket and everything else needed?

Just get one for a Sj...easy to install...160 is cheap...have seen them go for 200-300 lately. Includes...manifold, couplers, headpipe, and stinger. Other than that you'll need a new headpipe gasket, manifold to cylinder gasket, some hose, and a pisser. And don;t forget to rejet.

My dad has a 650 bpipe on his ski and I have a coffman's with very similar setups otherwise.
The bpipe is significantly better.

I love my ProTec pipe!
Good sound, great power on the 650
Keep your eye out and you can usually find one not too expensive

so looks like pretty much anything you find will be a nice improvement.
