That bolt looks like a steering stop.

they are just extra parts......i always have extra parts whenever im working on my ski. there used to always be extra nuts and bolts in the rear of my engine compartment after riding, but i havent seen any in a while... not since i put a scupper on my ski. :fing02:

I would say that is no way part of a AC pole. I had one and loved it and can't imagine that thing going anywhere in it or on it.

Thas what i was thinking.. Let see the other side where that welded area is. That welded piece is prolly the knob that rests on the steering stud/nut like some chin pad supports do.

yea its a chinpad support. i got the pole and dropped it off with the welder to wack 3" off so i didnt have the pole to look at. the bolts on the bracket line up with holes on the pole. anyone ever use it?
